The NJ News Commons at Montclair State University is offering micro-grants up to $3,500 and other resources to strengthen existing hyperlocal news sites and help launch new ones. The project, called “Grow and Strengthen,” is funded through a grant from the New Jersey Recovery Fund. Application deadline is Sept. 9. For more details and to download applications, click here.
