Everybody’s favorite New Jersey history and culture columnist, Mark Di Ionno will give the Tea & Talk at Rutherfurd Hall in Allamuchy (it’s where we co-sponsored Jonathan Alter) on Sunday, March 16 from 3 to 5 p.m. Mark has written three books on New Jersey history and culture, including Backroads, New Jersey: Driving at the Speed of Life, as well as a novel, The Last Newspaperman. He is going to talk about the roads the Rutherfurd family would have used to get to their “cottage.” Mark won awards for best column from New Jersey Press Association several times and was nominated for a Pulitzer last year. Now at the Star-Ledger, he was a sports columnist at the New York Post. Please consider coming out. You can get a tour of the house, too. Admission is $1 per person. For directions, click here.
