The North Jersey Google Developer Group is holding a meet-up on Thursday, Aug. 21 in Weston Hall on the New Jersey Institute of Technology campus in Newark. The event runs from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. and will focus on wearable technology (Google Glass, Android Wear, Fitbits, etc). You’ll also hear from some of the leaders of the exciting tech, entrepreneur and arts scene in Newark. Two break-out sessions: one for developers on how to make Android Wear-enabled apps, the other for tips and tricks for entrepreneurs and other folks who want to learn about how to use tech to make life easier and more efficient in their personal and professional lives.
